BPL to Release 2019 Second Quarter Financial Results

HOUSTON, July 25, 2019 — Buckeye Partners, L.P. (“Buckeye”) (NYSE: BPL) is scheduled to release
its 2019 second quarter earnings on August 1, 2019.

Due to the pending acquisition by IFM Investors announced on May 10, 2019, Buckeye does not plan to
host a conference call in conjunction with its 2019 second quarter earnings.
